Giving @ Grammar
Ipswich Girls’ Grammar School including Ipswich Junior Grammar School was built on the foundation of community.
Our community now extends far beyond our 130-year-old gates, and our more than 17,000 graduates have made their mark on the world in more ways than we could have ever imagined.
Philanthropy influences the future of our school. Our capacity to plan and build for the future is enhanced when our community rallies and supports our Annual Giving Appeal. Donations significantly boost our ability to improve exceptional resources and facilities for our students.
How can you become involved in improving the future of our school?
You can make a tax deductible donation to several areas of the School. It’s common that we receive donations for specific projects that are important to the benefactor. Perhaps you have fond memories in the Library, or perhaps you relish Speech Night or Presentation Night.
Building Fund
Provides funds for capital works projects and refurbishments.
Library Fund
Provides students with access to the latest literary resources. Our Libraries are a haven for many students who enjoy the quiet space to study, read and reflect.
Scholarships Fund
This fund maintains our ability to offer a generous scholarship and bursary program, enabling many students to attend our school who otherwise may not be able to. The fund also provides support for Speech Night and Presentation Night prizes, where our students are publicly recognised for their diligence each year.
Compassion Fund
This fund is a special one. Sometimes in life circumstances change, unfortunate events occur and it is out of our control. This fund is available for the School to provide financial relief to current families in situations of need, at the Principal’s discretion.
On behalf of the students, and the generations of students to come, we thank you for your support and the opportunities you enable us to provide. For more information or a confidential discussion about Giving @ Grammar please contact our Enrolments and Community Relations Department on phone +61 (07) 3454 4447 or email develop@iggs.qld.edu.au.
Principal’s Circle Donors
During the School’s 125th year, the capital appeal raised funds for the restoration and rejuvenation of the School’s heritage listed main building. Generous donors made this project possible, for which the School is incredibly grateful.
